Re: D2 "Powered by fairydust II"
Just managed to get a couple of hours this morning in between showers and chores and finished fitting upgraded intercooler and radiator. The old pair have definitely seen better days.
Rear lights and MOT next I think.

Re: D2 "Powered by fairydust II"
Might not be ready for Helmsley but old faithful has just gone through MOT again so builders allowing (major house mods again!!) I'll be there in one or the other. I removed the intercooler last night to fit an upgraded unit as it looks like someone has been using the old one to carry out controlled...

Re: Alan Cross
It is not often in life you come across someone you truly admire but the strength of both Alan and Karen caused me to do just that. Our thoughts are with you Karen.

D2 "Powered by fairydust II"

Usually worthwhile checking why roofs leak. Common cause is the drains are blocked or the pipes have come off. First one is an easy cure, use something thin and flexible to unblock then. If they have come off you can drop the headlining at the edges and get your hand up. If neither of gage above wor...

Could be a broken wire in the door hinge or a faulty actuator but its more likely the actuator. Easiest way to check is remove the door card and unplug the actuator. It is a really simple system where changing the polarity of two wires either locks or unlocks. Use a 12v feed straight on the the actu...

Hi Mark, sender should just alter resistance as pressure rises. Try putting a multi across earth and the terminal in off, idle and at pressure. Bad earth will increase resistance and give low reading so might be worth while double checking connections. Manual are here: http://www.sunpro.com/user_man...

R380 short bell housing
Has anyone converted an R380 to short bell housing or do you now if the LT77 bell housing and front cover fits the R380? I can buy all of the parts required new but with the other parts I need it's going to get expensive so looking to minimise spend with second hand parts.

We have both IPad2 3g and Google Nexus 10 (wifi only) and to be perfectly honest there is very little difference. Both are fluid in use, respond very well and not prone to freezing. Apple frustrate me with their lockdowns and dictatorial attitude to users but the Ipad does perform well. Similar pric...

When I wired mine, I looked for low resistance 50mm2 battery cable and could not find any that claimed to outperform the quality welding cable I chose. The general consensus on the web appeared to be that area of most resistance would be the crimps and that the only way to fix that was by soldering ...
