I guess that the deCarbon shocks are slightly longer than standard then or my springs have compressed - at least on the left side as that is the only side this has happened. Any suggestions as to the simplest way to stop it happening? Jubilee clips round the top of the spring to the chassis hanger -...

Spring jumping out
One of my rear springs seems to keep coming out of the socket at the top. The bottom is fixed in place but the top normally locates in the bracket on the chassis. Twice now, after off road sessions, I've found it partially out of the top fitting. I've got standard length shocks on so there shouldn't...

door seals - which way round?
As it says, I've got new door seals for the bottom of the doors onto the sills. They are different to what was fitted before in that they fit to the door rather than the sill. The seals are an L shape but I don't know which way round they go. One side has a row of holes for the pop rivets into the u...

The Marix Puma 265/75 seem to be about £100 a tyre once you add shipping. I can get the Insa or Fedima 235/85 for about the same. What would the pros/cons be for running the 265/75 instead of the 235/85? I'm concerned about turning circle and rubbing on the wings/wheel arches as my wheels have slig...

Hi Dave, that's the point really. The Fedima and Insa Turbo both come in a 235/85 which matches the Greenway Machos I got from you. I want to keep the same size all round. There's also a Tecnic Amazon (made by Kingpin?) which has the same pattern and size but I remember someone saying that Kingpin w...

Fedima Extreme vs Insa Turbo Sahara
I need to get 2 new tyres and want to get some that match my existing Greenway Machos tread pattern. Any ideas as to which might be better out of the Fedima or Insa Turbo? They are my road tyres too so don't want anything that is going to be too scary on road (the Machos seem OK so far for a compari...
