The engine may need to be shipped back to the USA due to an apparent drop in oil pressure. At the same time I'll get them to replace the pistons with a more civilised set that are more road than track biassed. If the oil pressure thing turns out to be a faulty sender unit then we'll get the pistons...

not long after i got my series 2 - i looked at pictures of how they worked and just couldnt figure it out. drove me so mad that in a way i was thankful Graeme snapped a halfshaft at weardale, so i had an excuse to pull the diff out and see how it worked in the flesh. :oops: my sadness knows no bound...

For springs I'm going to give Lovells a go on mine, probably with Pro-Comp shocks.. although I might try one Lovells and one Pro-Comp on each corner. Maddisons sell Lovells springs in the UK and they come with a 5 year warranty. I think I'm right in saying that BM blues are also made by Lovells alt...
