I agree with Dave, forget the C section go for the box easier to weld (does not distort as much and thicker walls) and cheap a chips (cheaper if dave has some spare) and far stronger. I would forget Tomrods
I would forget Tomrods, they are a steel stock hodler and as such supply steel in bulk, generaly they dont want to know for small lengths, cheap if u want lots but for small fabrication not realy practical. Finaly got it off
Finaly got it off, one of the cores had a crack in it, the good news is its not ali as I thought its brass, so lots of solder later it looks like its fixed, off for a short test run to get it up to temp, if alls good I am heading over to RHB )

Bigger problem is the hole in the radiator

Jeep has a roll cage so roof is not needed, its only glass fibre anyway.

Also done a few minor mods 1. Made a new front bumper from some scrap, i now have front shackle points, total cost 8p, (i needed some spacers, 2p's were just the right thickness and i needed 4, I was upset I had no washers the right size) 2. Clutch centerng tool ?
Clutch centerng tool, i know this will make you all cringe but while i was learing to drive had to replace clutch plates on a LWB landy, just sharpened an old broom handle to the right approx dimensions for a centering tool )

Just noticed there is no winch on it ?

After the awsome rebuild how come you didnt build a winch into it or is this the work vehicle for pam to get to her ruins ?
If so how long will it need to get the other beast sat in the drive operational ?
