He`s checked the bulbs and they were fine and couldnt find any of the fuses in the box that relate to the side lights, so he was a bit stuck on what...

you can burn out and remove an old original bush in about 5-10 minutes. really easy to do and its good therapy getting all angry at it with a big butane torch!!! My only tip is to use a nice quality LONG hacksaw and be careful when you cut through the outer sleeve so you dont eat into the ...

p.s. Anyone know what I need to look for in terms of screwdriver to fit the handbrake drum cross-heads? Sorry - stupid question - I bet most of you know! i used a simple flat head screwdriver that was an 'interference fit' (in other words, slighty too big until i whacked the back of it with a hamme...

Just seems there is no consistency. Had the same when i took off the front shock turrets a few years ago....

many thanks to nige and hadyn for helping me swap the diff from nicks donor car to my front axle today. all works beautifully and leak / rattle/ growl free. got a couple of questions....rants.... though. the diff pinion bearing has loads of slack in it, causing the noise etc. But looking at the ring...
