Nigel Waller

I've been putting this off for a few days as I really didn't know what to say and still don't really to be honest. I'm sad to say that Nigel passed away suddenly on Wednesday morning.

Some of you may be aware that Nigel was one of the founding members of the club and had been a personal friend for a long time before that. It was Nigel that introduced me and Pam to the obsession that is Land Rover ownership and all that went with it. I know it's a cliche but he will be sorely missed.

Our sympathies go out to Wendy, Scott, Russell and Matthew.

The funeral will be held at the Harrogate Crematorium, 11am on Friday 7th June. No flowers, there will be a donations tray at the service.

I used to work with nigel. He was a good friend. He was the best man at our wedding. He was a man of few words but always willing to help somebody out if he could.
They say only the good die young.
Nigel was better than most.
