Recovery Techniques
Recovery Techniques
Have come across a few interesting sites on recovery techniques etc.
If you read this site you can get an idea of the forces which are involved in recoveries
Bill's Recovery Bible
How to do a snatch recovery can be found HERE
Another interesting site is HERE
Please note they are discussing snatch straps and NOT KERR which if I remember correctly is banned at club events. Snatch straps are more elastic then towing straps/winch extension straps
Whilst the use of a round section of wood maybe preferable to the use of shackles for joing straps together, it could be subsitute with a piece of carpet, rolled up rubber mat/newspaper/fluorscent vest etc
Hope you find it interesting reading
Regards
Brendan
