Project Discovery

Postby jim » Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:02 pm

I have finished my college course now, changed job and have started preparing a 3 door Discovery for green laning and trialing. The S1 hybrid sold back in January due to requiring a Discovery for Alex, Henry and Susy. I have carried out some mods to the Discovery and will upload some photos.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Cheers Jim

I had a S1 hybrid, but it wasn't suitable for the family and camping so i decided to go for the Disco. I have two young offroaders to entertain now

Cheers Nick.

Hi Nick

The tent is my new residence due to the recession and it's the only peaceful place to be along with the garage. Tips: don't fall over because there is a chance you may break your ankle. Driving tips: Two twelve packs of pure genious and half a cow the night before a trial and don't watch me its more luck rather than judgement

I took the Discovery for MOT today and it failed on the rear flexi brake hose which i changed and now it has a new test certificate. It is the first time i have driven it on the road since i bought it and the engine and transmission are good. Looking forward to using it in the near future, but i will have to wait until October before taxing it. :(
