Diff

Postby varleym » Fri Apr 08, 2011 5:09 pm

Got the rear diff swapped today, nice & quiet now (well as quiet as a land rover gets!). Also got it taxed (£215) - it's still down as a 2.25 petrol on the V5 but I'm not sure whether it would be any more for a 2.5 Tdi. I'm going to get the V5 changed anyway so I guess I'll see next year. Insurance certificate has vehicle details correct.

Few pics of getting the rear external cage and challenge wings fitted down at Whitbread's the other week, plus a few of the finished article.

You do know it won't meet ARC regulations any more don't you (don't be tempted to go to the National as you've got no chance at getting through scrutineering)
