Defender 90 2012 steering wheel boss

Postby leeds » Mon Nov 26, 2012 10:08 pm

Does anyone know the size of a Defender 90 2012 steering wheel boss?

17 or 19mm? Number of splines?

Its best to take the old one off and count them, there where differences between models, CSW are different to none-csw and export didn't always follow. I do have a bit of a list will bring a copy to club night.

Have two Raid bosses in front of me. One is a Raid KK807 and the other one is KK807 one 17mm one 19mm. Both have leaflets in saying number of spines is 38

If I remove steering wheel it will be easy to work out which one to use. :P

I was hoping to find a simple solution, pre or post a certain date etc!

Normally LR's are 17.5mm / 18.6 or 18.3. 3/4 or 11/16 shafts with either 48 or 36 splines. Defender 07 > (puma) should be 48 spline but not sure of the shaft size. As long as its not LHD CSW as it gets confusing. Have a look at Merlin motorsport or Devon's web site they seem to have some details but best to count. Will bring list tonight. Dave
