changing lock barrels

Postby tecnick » Fri Aug 06, 2010 1:20 pm

I have just bought three keyed alike locks for the 90 as i needed to change one anyway. I assumed it would be easy to swap the back door barrel but it would seem not. How do I do it?

Cheers Nick
If it ain't broke, I'd be bloody suprised.

Assuming you have the older style door, you have to remove the lock assembly from the door first.

Once removed you stick a pin down the small hole at the base of the barrel to depress the locking pin and you can pull the barrel out. You can't get to the hole when the lock mechanism is mounted in the door.
