Christmas Picture Quiz No. 1.

Postby varleym » Tue Dec 28, 2010 10:21 am

We'll start with the easy one first. What vehicle is this air filter housing from? When I got my 90, the air filter housing was just kind of 'flapping about' in the engine bay and only held in position by the pipes connected to it.

The main reason I want to know what vehicle it's from (I suspect a Disco 1 as part of the bodged 200Tdi conversion) is I need to get hold of a bracket to mount it onto the wing or other convenient point.

Also, if anyone has said bracket kicking around in their garage I'll take it off your hands for some beer tokens.

Cheers

Mark

Also, can't remeber what (if anything) connects to the smaller 'angled' connector at the bottom - is this just for any water to escape?

Doesn't look like mine or Tim's 300 TDI defender filter housing, me thinks it's a 200 TDI disco one.

Cheers fellas - overwhelming vote for 200 Tdi Disco. Now I just have to find someone who's breaking one!

Thanks.
