STOLEN LAND ROVER 90

Postby lallylandy » Mon Sep 05, 2011 3:54 pm

Hi everyone,

Please keep your eyes and ears open for my red land rover 90, reg D821 JWX stolen from a driveway in Walkeringham near Doncaster last night (5/9/11). I'd do anything to have it back!

Thanks, Charlotte

Land Rover Watch scheme

Postby Rod » Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:01 am

Charlotte
There was an artical in LandRover Monthly June 2011 page 176 about a new Land Rover Watch scheme that Frank King is trying to set up, where you contact any clubs your in and them the club would then post the details on their own website, but at the same time also notify the scheme, they would then mass e mail every other club in the scheme, who would post the details of the vehicle on their website, so in a matter of hours, the whole of the UK and further would have the details of the stolen vehicle.
Im not sure if this is up and running yet or if our Club is in it
But you could also contact Frank King, he may be able to post out your details, it got to be worth a go

Frank Kings contact details

Is this some thing we could register for if you have not done so already

I'm not sure it did/will ever get off the ground, I got the impression it was just a publicity stunt.

Charlotte
I've just seen the forum messages and I'm absolutely gutted for you.
Fingers crossed for your motor's safe return.
If it helps to keep you off-roading you are welcome to double-enter my motor (dog ruff) as you seem to enjoy yourself so much at Helmsley.
Good luck

do you not think getting someone to steal your landrover is a bit of an extreme way of not trialling at Brotherton?

seriously though - hope it gets found and returned wihtout too much damage.
Bugger!
Another bloody dent...

Sorry to hear about your motor, Charlotte.
I've been pulled over tonight by the police, checking to make sure my 90 was being driven by it's rightful owner!
The WPC said that they had been three defenders nicked this week, nice to know they are trying to do something about it.
