Wet weather was bound to lead to some problems
with traction on this grassy site. As it turned out, the wet
conditions provided an entertaining weekend for all those who
attended either as officials, competitors or spectators. The
Tyro trial was poorly attended with the anticipated small entry
of 5 diminishing to just 2 vehicles on the day but at least
the trial was well attended with the expert/novice combination
adding an extra element of team scores for those who signed
up to it. The rain actually did the decent thing and held off
while we were setting out and competing, restricting itself
to the odd downpour overnight.
