We had an unusually low turnout for the trial,
more so when you take into account that this was Helmsley but
I suspect the weather and the short booking time didn't help.
We did get a good turnout of marshals, which is always good
to see and, at one point we thought we were going to have more
marshals than competitors !
Ian Campbell was C of C and him
and his helpers set 10 sections between them.and, once again,
it is these people and those who marshalled on the day that
we have to thank for allowing the event to go ahead.
