discovery 300tdi boiling over
Coming back from brotherton trial with quite abit of damage,to cap it all it started to over heat .stopped on driglington bypass water everywhere let it cool down filled with water(lucky I had some) .started it up fine then noticed water coming from underneath expansion bottle pipes not leaking ,realised cap abit water stopped leaking ? Set off got has far as tong before boiling over let cool down again before filling up.gauge near red by time I got home (Baildon) hopefully done no damage ,does anyone know why this is happening it's boiled over twice last year!(radiator is cleanish)cheers mick Lyons p.s. going to work Monday morning looked discovery low and behold got another flat

Check the one way valve between stat housing , rad and expansion bottle , if they block up they cause airlocks that can be a bitch so find the cause of .
