timing belt on 300tdi

Need to know what's broken and maybe how to fix it ? Post here

Kinsom , take it all apart again , smear the o ring with grease, fit it onto the crank and put back together again, if you don't your front timing belt cover will slowly become coated with oil and it'll perish the belt, back to square one again.

Richard, for piece of mind, if you use a small torch to look up the wading plug hole in the bottom of the cover, you should be able to see if the belt is shredding.
