In car GPS / Computer
For those wanting in car cumputing power, more than likely to run GPS software heres a a few ideas
How about a 1 Litre PC 4gb ram Windows 7 premium £202, amazing but true, a friend of mine has set 2 of these units up as home entertainment systems but I bet they might work in a car due to the size and the fact its an external power supply, add a touch screen and you have a very nice setup for memory map )

I have also been assured that all the top manufacters, hp, dell etc will be jumping on the tablet PC band wagon with plenty of ne models this spring many running windows operating systems.

Hi Richard,
The link below is about the free software for in-car comp system that I mentioned to you earlier:

And the link below is the type of 'tablet' I was telling you about.

Looks like the right sort of kit
It looks like the right sort of kit but i am guessing it will fetch about £400, I will be waiting 6 months for the competition war to force prices down and windows 8 might have ARM processor support which should open up the field a bit.
Bearing in mind last years scatter was won by a series Landy and just an OS map I will be holding back on the Electronic new toys till the market has exactly what i need at a good price )
